And it certainly has been apart from Sunday when I had the pleasure of Sarahs company to make her wedding invites, Gosh there was so much glitter, pink paper and embossing powder been thrown around I was actually scared, I had to ring the fab Marion of Sugar and Spice and QVC fame to send me out some more wonderful Frontage Shabby Pink, 3 pots of it , as I am sure Sarah is not going to be content with a light sprinkling of the stuff !!!!!!!

So this week I have purchased myself a fab new ipad which Euan and I are spending the evening arguing about who is going to play with it me or him obviously as I am the one in charge, supposedly, I win but then I do feel a little bit bad and let him have a little play on it, cos I can.

I am working at the fab CTM tomorrow which I cant wait as Vikki has some fab new Stamps in from Basic Grey and Hero Arts and I cannot wait to pick them up and take them home to play with on Sunday thanks to some great ideas from Kristina Werner.

Unfortunately we missed out on our Stamp Club this week so it has been moved to next Friday I am going to show the girls how to make some fab boxes for Halloween I got the idea from Splitcoast which I love.

Telly is fab at the mo for me Friday night is eveiction night for Big Brother am loving this series although would love to see more of it like some live footage would be good and over the weekend Strictly and X Factor I love the dark nights sitting in watching your fav stuff on telly with the fire lite a take away and a nice glass of diet coke !!!! would have wine but I would be asleep within seconds if I went that way lol.

So I have popped a pic at the top of here of the little boxes we will be making next friday at Stamp Club cant wait to see all the ladies as its been far to long and I have an order that is far far to big to tell Matthew about not that he will mind but I am supposed to be not spending any money on craft at the moment to pay for a wedding in Vegas!!!!!!

Morning am so sorry I have not got to post every night but Vikki and I have been absolutely cream crackered every night.

I have seen some of the most lovely products that will be coming out in the next few weeks can't wait to share them with you all.

I have met Donna Downey, Teresa Collins, the gorgeous Tim Holz, the makers of Doodlebug, the makers of Cosmo Cricket and the lady that invented glimmer mist in her kitchen the list goes on though and will tell you all about it later x

The most stunning new products for me where by Graphic 45 they are soooooo grungy and there stand was amazing here are some pics

Not to everyones tastes I know but I loved it.

I won a prize on the Provocraft stand which was excellent 2 circuit carts and 2 packs of brand new cuttlebug folders was so excited man. Was slightly disappointed I did not win one of their new machines though the imagine here is a pic

What a fab new product and am so glad I did not buy a gypsy if you zoom in on the right hand bottom corner of the machine you can see the words HP so I suspect most of you will now guess it PRINTS and cuts honestly it's fab.

Vikki and I have seen some absolutely fab goodies and I cannot wait for them all to come in over the next few months I think you are all going to love it here are a couple of pics to whet your appetites

Ok do it's 11 o clock at night and we have just got back from shopping we left the hotel at around 8 this morning ! Am completely exhausted lol but had excellent fun had lunch at Cheescake Factory .....

We have had pizza for tea this evening but could not do it real justice as eating at 10 at night is not good

Oh yes landed here yesterday afternoon about 2 in uk about 8 on the evening ! Totally cream crackered by the time we got out of the airport and car it was 3 30 !
May have been tired but managed to do a bit of shopping including archivers OMG why have we nothing like this at home beautiful am. Of there today so will include some pics for you all.

Dinner at the cheesecake factory yum yum about 5 30 !!!! 12 30 your time but managed to eat and enjoy in bed at the lovely Westin by 7 30 in the land of nod lol hopefully no jet lag lol x the bed is sooooooo lovely am considering taking it home with me !

Phew Another Challenge

So here is my 5th challenge for the Wight Craft Circle I have altered a clipboard by covering it with some lovely K and Co papers some Ribbon and a lovely prima I swirly thing lol I had a bit of trouble trying to decide whether to use it as a noticeboard or as a layout so I went with the layout but with the option of being able to change the picture if I so desire.

I have put it up in my studio above my new little shelves purchased from Ikea this week with my little jars on.

I went to the NEC in Birmingham this week for the Hobbycraft show with my American lady friends we had a great time had thought about doing a Stash Brag but thought I had better not or I would be so in trouble with all my friends for the amount of Stash I have lol.

I decided that I would put a picture of Matt and I on the board as all I need to do is look up and I can see my Matthew looking down at me smiling lol he hated going to Olan Mills to have our pictures taken we had a family portrait done there as well it was quite a few years ago I must say, I found the picture under a pile of books by the side of my bed so decided that it would be so much nicer to have it out to look at.

Ok so I have finally given in to all the nagging that I have been getting about posting more pics of my pride and joy THE LITTLE BLUE HUT I love it love it love it and I certainly love spending time out there it is the most relaxing place in the world for me and all my friends seem to love it too which is great as you can see here this is how I am storing some of my ribbon on dolly pegs in this basket thing I got for £5.99 from homebase cheap as chips as they say lol and obviously had to get a pic of my lovely PINK yes I said PINK cuttlebug lol. Now this picture is of the area behind me as you can see I have a few new purchases sat around in that are which need putting somewhere only where is the rapidly asking question in my mind lol I am dreading to think what else I will be purchasing at the NEC next week to adorn my STUDIO Shirley !
Oh god and this is more pictures of more purchases of my ever increasing and worrying addiction to Longaberger baskets I love love love them and I cannot stop purchasing them which is a worry as they are really quite expensive I have bought some of the lovely wrought iron hanging things that they do to put baskets on they are in the picture above one is in the box and other other is sat to the right with a little tea basket on it is so cute I am thinking that some of these are going to make it into the house as the look so lovely and will be great for hiding rubbish in lol, you know bills you dont want to look at, children and various other items to be found around the home lol.

Now this is where the magic happens lol, did I just say that, yep I sure did lol this is where I sit and mull away my time trying to decide what I am going to make and how I am going to start I love sitting here looking out at the window and seeing my chickens running around and the dogs occasionally Matt pops his head in and makes me laugh and Euan loves to come in and make something fab with me its a great place to have some me time and I love sitting there listening to music and willing away the hours how bad am I. I am really looking forward to showing it off to my great friend Paige and her friends from the Isle of Wight who are hopefully going to come over for a weekend of cropping fun.

Ok so this is my next isle of wight challenge thingy to do a layout using 4 photos

its a nightmare lol but I will carry on blogging girls I promise.

I have had a fab week have been out shopping with Miss Lisa to get Bunco prizes and have been to lunch with my good friend Mrs W and have even found time to do some crafting with Mel in The Little Blue Hut its been great fun .

Dont die of shock everyone I even showed up at work this week for the first time in ages and done a full day the boys were in shock cheeky devils. Might even go in tomorrow just to confuse them lol.

Am loving blogging again cant think why I dont keep it up really as its quite nice to put your thoughts down on paper and of course I love going around reading everyone elses blog.

Had a sad thought today its been six months now since Mark was killed and its still as painful as it was on the day it happened for me I dread to think how my sister must feel I wonder when it will get better god knows we have the inquest to look forward to next month maybe after that lets hope.
On a brighter note I applied to go on Deal or No Deal this week will keep you updated as to whether or not I get on I cant wait probably wont happen though as I am far to normal lol.

Ok so starting from today I am going to hopefully be blogging everyday not only do I have my JYC (Journal Your Christmas) to blog about I also have my advent gifts from my good friend Shirley to blog about as well.

We have spent £1 a day on each other for the 25 days of advent. How exciting, it was hard to spend only that and I know that Shirley and I have gone over £1 on most things lol some of it is crafting goodies and some of it is other bits and pieces like hopefully plenty of chocolate, it is advent after all, thankyou for my Advent candle Shirley, my first gift, you are soooooo clever xxxx.

So its a day of firsts 1st Advent, 1st JYC and I have just been outside to go to my studio and its the 1st Frost of the winter too how lovely and very apt for the start of the Christmas season.

BEWARE.........STASH BRAG ...........!!!!!!!!

Apologies to all these are some of the bits I purchased at the NEC Birmingham when I went on Friday with Jo. We had a fab time and both of us spent far to much money. The place was absolutely packed and I must say I did at one point wonder why on earth do we put ourselves through this but hey ho.

The people who make the Magnolia Stamps were there all the way from Holland it was amazing to see so many Magnolias, or moomins as Shirley calls them lol. They have a magazine which I never knew about which obviously I purchased and some flipping gorgeous Christmas and Halloween papers which obviously I purchased too could have bought a lot more, I also purchased a Father Christmas Stamp which I fell in love with and as you can see from the pic below used the very next day lol. I spent a lot of time talking and watching Leandra from PaperArtsy she is so fab and very artistic and the things she makes from metal are absolutely brilliant I love her stamps and obviously made a few purchases with them, I said hello to the Glitter Girls to they are so very funny love them x

So Saturday had a really lovely day again in my studio, ok ok .................shed, with my good friend Mel making christmas cards not that we made that many to be honest as we spent most of the ohing and ahing over my purchases from the NEC then having a good chat about her holiday as we have not seen each other much as she went away on her hols in half term. So here are the two cards I made the first being basically a copy from the magnolia magazine but obviously as I dont have all their fancy ribbons and stuff a few adaptions lol. The second one did not really come out as I had hoped but its ok its from an online club I have joined to get some new ideas for xmas crafts called UStamp its really great fun and you get to speak to loads and loads of Stampin Up demos from all around the world and they share there ideas I loved the idea of this card with the window but am not sure whether its the buttons or the amount of the trees thats the problem for me lol but will make another one a little bit different and we will see so watch this space.

So am off to Church this morning with Euan as its Remembrance Sunday as his Great Grandad fought in the war I think its important for him to go and give thanks obviously I am not religious at all but Euan loves going to Church and generally goes with his Grandma but I do tend to go at Christmas and Remembrance and Harvest as I love the hymns, how sad am I lol. This afternoon I am hoping to be crafting out in my Studio so maybe you never know girls may have another blog later but please dont hold your breaths xxxxx Take care everyone xxxxx

The Start of My Collection and so much more !!!!!!!!

So Ladies this is the start of my Longaberger basket collection which I am going to be using in my Studio to store my lovely stash obviously it will be a slow process as they are flipping expensive lol but I must say the little bag was a bit naughty as thats not really for my stash oops!!!

This is my small pile of stash that I bought from CTM this weekend only a small pile so not that expensive !!!!

OMG and guess what I got a chance to do some scrapbooking this afternoon using my lovely Sassafrass papers that were in the lovely kit I am so pleased that I actually managed to spend a couple of hours in my Studio I was so excited and it was lovely to have all my lovely stash around me and ready to use I cannot wait to do more hopefully this week although I cannot promise that I will be blogging every time but will do my best.

Ok so fresh start for the week and some really exciting news MY STUDIO IS FINISHED yes Paige, Shirley and everyone else I have a Studio in my garden, ok we all know its a flipping shed but poetic licence lets me call it my Studio Darling !!!!

How wonderful is my husband he has done a great job and I am so proud of him bless.All I need to do now is titify it with lots of lovely bits and pieces I suspect that will be time consuming but no doubt enjoyable lol. I now have somewhere to store and use my lovely stash lets hope I get loads of time to play out there. As you can see from the pic above I still have a few bits and pieces to put away but dont worry will be working on that today.

This is my cutting area where I will be keeping my Cricut, Big Shot, Bind it all etc etc and obviously it will work as a lovely crafting space for any visitors I may have to my Studio lol

This is going to be my area to sit and craft and of course if I have any visitors they will be able to sit there to I suspect I may even have some room in the middle for a couple of tables ladies so maybe a little crop may go on here occasionally I dont know what do you all think lol x

I started last night by making some Christmas Cards for a car swap at a Stampin Up workshop I am going to this week. I got the layout from Michelle my lovely Stampin Up Upline, last year when she done our stampers 10 thanks Michelle I have no doubt the ladies will love this card I have to make 12 of them so they can all take one home but the good news is I will get 11 cards from them to use for ideas for my Christmas cards lol. Hopefully I will be starting to fill my blog up with lots of lovely blog posts about the crafting I am doing in my Studio but dont hold your breath girlies lol xxxxxx

I just had to blog about the great sadness that my family and I are going through at the moment my sister Amandas husband Mark was tragically killed in a motorbike accident 3 weeks ago. The shock we are all feeling is dreadful as Mark was a really great person between them Amanda and Mark had 5 children Dale Charlotte and Jordan from Amandas first marriage and Grant and Lee from Marks first marriage They have been together for 10 years. Grant was 18 last week how awful for him to not have his dad to celebrate this with him. We are all still reeling from the shock of his tragic death. We will miss his sense of humour and his quirky laugh. Pat and Tony Marks parents are absolutely devasted as they lost there son Gary 17 years ago at the age of 23 to Multiple Sclerocis so its just awful that they have now lost Mark my heart goes out to them and Amanda Grant Dale Lee Charlotte and Jordan Love you and Miss you Mark x

RAIN STOPS PLAY LOL OR IS IT NEIGHBOURS !!!!

Ok folks so no doubt you have tuned in to see how the heck my shed is going well let me tell you not very far ! We have managed to get the roof covered but unfortunately whilst doing so we had a bit of a complaint from our lovely neighbours !! Yes when they look out of their back room window which is behind the telly all they can see is my shed mmmmmmmmm how dare they its a lovely looking shed lol !!!!! So in view of this Matthew has had to make the base longer and put the flipping shed, sorry lovely shed, behind the conifers so that they cannot see it anymore ! They obviously have no idea what they are missing out on lol. So in view of this Matthew and Victor were up until 11.30 last night elongating the base so consequently all work that was to be done yesterday was put in to today and as we all now its been flipping raining all day typical lol. So Shirley please do not mention the Stampers 10 !!!!!

Euan has spent all day on the sofa playing games, watching telly and reading his new Dinosaur book from Nanny in his PJ s, whilst I have cooked dinner done a bit of tidying and played my new Sims 3 on the Computer what a lazy day we have had lol.

Hopefully I will have some photos up for you in the week as its to wet to go out there this evening to take any !

And Obviously I am watching Big Brother which I have to say I am loving although I wish they were showing more of it but unfortunately you can only see the live stream from around 11 30 until 4 am so that is no good for me, I have an early favorite which is Cairon but I have no doubt as time goes on I will change my mind lol. I know none of you lot will be watching but you dont know what you are missing its so funny lol.

Ok So I have do doubt you are all wondering why Matt is stood at the bottom looking up rather scared as Victor is climbing around like a monkey, well the simple answer to that is Matthew is scared of heights, can you believe it even standing on the ladder makes him feel slightly faint ! Bless his cotton socks lol.
What a star our Victor is he is a roofer by trade and is only young so has aboslutely no fear although he scared the be jesus out of me watching him running along the rafters like he was lol but I am so pleased with their progress yesterday and cannot wait to see the roof finished it looks massive inside now the roof is on.
Victor cant make it today to do the felting so Matt will be doing some of the prettying up bits on the outside lol including cutting the grass lol not been done for a couple of weeks now so its getting to look a bit like a jungle out there. I am really pleased with my little Crafting Paradise I have no idea yet what I am going to call it but am working on it as we speak its very hard as obviously I dont want it sound like a knocking shop calling it after Miss Breathless so will have to seriously think about it !

HI EVERYONE

Hello everyone I hope you have all had a good Christmas and obviously I wish you all a great New Year.

We had a lovely Christmas and I thoroughly enjoyed doing my Journal I only have a few more pages to do and intend finishing this weekend.

I have been loving watching Celebrity Big Brother and Masterchef at the moment they have been really great and of course I have been facebooking like mad as its so easy to do while you are sat watching the telly !

I am posting a picture of Trixi enjoying the snow we had a few weeks ago with Euan on the trampoline she loves getting on there with him and is a nightmare to get off but she always look so lovely bless her I will be positing again in a few days with some more pics and hopefully something slightly more interesting to say x

Christmas Shopping

At last today I managed to get some Christmas Shopping done and with that and being up to date with my JYC Journal this is a good day.

Euan is so excited today that he does not have to go to school for 2 weeks, I am not that excited though as I will end up having to watch Zach and Cody and Thats so Raven for the next 2 weeks although the good news is we have Christmas in between so hopefully he will get some lovely pressies from FC which will save my sanity.
I really am excited about Christmas on Sunday we are off to Church for 9 Lessons and Carols which I absolutely love it always make me feel like Christmas is here when we go.

A few of my friends have been really poorly the last few weeks so Michelle and Melly I really hope you are feeling lots better also Mother in Law you to although you wont be reading my blog as you do not own a computer lol but am sending out lots of love to you to xxxxxx.

Yes girls read it and weep, I am sooooo up to date thank god. I will be off to CTM tonight to do today's prompt and I am sure you will all be very surprised.

So today is probably my worst nightmare as I am off to school today to help with the kids Christmas Party I have no idea why I say yes when they ask me, I really don't lol, and as you all know the excitement will be absolutely off the wall for the kids so I will have to come home and lock myself in a darkened room for about an hour to get over it lol.

I know Euan cannot wait to break up from school he has next week all planned out, he wants to go Christmas shopping, but could he just buy himself a small toy ! Also he would like to make some mince pies with jam in as he does not like mincemeat lol and he would like to help wrap the presents. I love seeing his little face when he is working things out in his head its great he has even made a list which I love. So only one week to go can you believe it.

Matt has been working late the last few nights so I have managed to catch up on my Journal at last hopefully by tonight I will be bang up to date and can start doing it one an evening again, lets hope. We have had lots on as well which really does not help.
I still have hardly done any Christmas shopping so that is going to be a priority over the next few days as obviously Euan breaks up on Friday and it would be so much easier without him there.
I love shopping so there is absolutely now worries there and I will be getting my dad to come with me and carry the bags.
Less than a week to go so hope everyone else is more organised than I am lol

Only 12 and 13 to do lol will hopefully get them done today then I will be back up to date. It has been a nightmare trying to get back on top of it and I have had loads to do this week, like try and get some Christmas shopping done, Euans Christmas play, the Village Hall Christmas Party and my night out with the girls at the Worlington Hall in Worlington.

Me Janice and Mel had a great time unfortunately when I say that I litrally mean us 3 when we got there we found out that most people had cancelled and gone to The Bull in Barton Mills so after the table of 7 left at about 10 it was just us 3 left to dance to the disco to our hearts content, we had a great time but obviously wish there had been a few more people to enjoy it with us.

Finally I have got round to uploading pages 8 and 9 from my JYC Journal. I went out last night with Euan to the Village Hall Christmas Party we had an excellent time and Euan was such a star he was dancing away like someone off Strictly Come Dancing lol. I said to him I thought he was really brave dancing in front of everyone he said "mum sometimes you have just got to face your fears" what can you say when an 8 year old comes out with that lol. Him and Nathan had a great time it was lovely to watch bless them.

Here is day 5 of the JYC challenge, I am really enjoying it and am loving looking at everyones work, especially my friend Shirley, speaking of Shirley, where is day number 5 come on I'm done.

Todays challenge was about how we count down our Christmas obviously I use a chocolate advent calender as you would expect lol . Although I wish I had had time to make my Karen Foster one that I bought from CTM but unfortunately time was not on my side this year so maybe I will use it next year.

I am looking forward to my weekend I am working at CTM tomorrow and on Sunday I am at CTM again as Kirsty Wiseman is coming to do a workshop, I am really excited.

So I am off to sit in front of the fire with my chinese and the Im a Celebrity Final yay.

Ok so I am trying to distract you all slightly, is it working, I doubt it!!! So this is some of the stash that I purchased a few weeks ago as I could not leave CTM without it oh dear it was going to sit in my cupboard as stroke able paper only, that is until Mrs Lumpkin planted the JYC seed!!!! So yes this is some of what I am going to use for my Album, which you can see proudly displayed in the middle of it all.

I have used a Bo Bunny album which I have covered with some lovely doodlebug flock and of course my DCWV papers, I have added some lovely glitter and flock to my letters and on the side I have dangled some ribbon and Bazzill pom poms, I have gone around the edges with my white arondak dabber to make it very white it looks great inside as well but really forgot to take a picture of it..........sorry !!!!

I am really looking forward to starting filling it tomorrow and of course starting my Advent Calender yum yum . Will try and remember to keep updating but cannot promise anything as I am pretty rubbish at remembering to blog but will do my best..............................!

That is the question.............................. I have so much to do over the next few weeks why on earth do I sign up to do a Journal your Christmas Challenge lol but I have, also I have dragged Shirley into this so we are never going to have any time to do it but I am sure we will have a good go. I would like to of course blame Paige for this as she planted the seed !!! So wish me luck if you see me lurking with my camera or making notes just ignore me and take pity. I will of course do my best to keep you updated and occasionally post a pic of what I have done so you can have a giggle. Anyway whats new with me folks, nothing actually, I have been on holiday to America in October which was fab, and had a great Halloween thanks to Shirley and Steph bless them but really just not had much time to blog but I will do my best to rectify this asap.

I have been doing Michelles Christmas Extravaganza which has been brilliant, she is so clever and the things we have been making are absolutely lovely, 20 Christmas Cards last week and this time some lovely goodies to make for people for Christmas, wont tell you what they are yet as some of you will be making them on the weekend !!!!

It is actually getting me in the mood for Christmas so I might even try doing some serious Christmas shopping in the next few weeks and hopefully doing this Journal your Christmas will get me back in to scrapbooking again I have been finding it hard to get motivated and as I have absolutely loads and loads of stash I really need to start using some of it so lets hope lol.

CRUMBS........

Ok so most husbands bring you home a box of chocs, maybe some flowers oh no not Matt he found this little gem wandering around the back of the workshop no one had any idea where it could have come from so what do you think he does, brings her home !!!! Now I know absolutely nothing about chucks but he tells me he and Oliver have called her crumbs as apparently that is what she is going to be coated in before we cook her !!!!! I think not ........

How lovely is she, I have hot footed it over to Alans Ark to get some feed and some bedding for her and we are on the look out for a little friend for her as she is a bit lonely out there you never know may be we will even be having our own eggs yum yum although I think you may need a cockerel for that, have book, will read lol.

We think she is a Welsummer but obviously that is looking in a book, she is quite young, Euan absolutely loves her, and I am a little scared of her as I have a bit of an aversion to any form of bird they scare the bejesus out of me when they start flapping their wings so while she is in the pen at the bottom of the garden she is lovely lol. Matthew keeps going down the garden to have a cuddle with his new bird, am getting a bit jealous !!!!!!!

Euan and I have spent the day scrapbooking today its been lovely. Euan has done a lovely page funnily enough it was a picture of a goose with a green beak that we seen in France so tomorrow he is going to do another page with Crumbs .

Am getting very excited about Strictly Come Dancing starting next week just been watching the preview show and am absolutely in lust with Mark Foster and Tom Chambers mmmmmmmmmmmmm they are lovely so will be voting for that pair every week lol

OMG how long has it been please do not tell me lol.

So what have I been doing loads far to much in fact to put on this little old blog of mine lol. Obviously looking at the picture we have been on holiday. Euan and I went on holiday to the Vendee, stayed at St Jean De Monts, with our friend Annie and her two children Madison and Josh. We had an excellent time and came back all lovely and brown from the all the sunbathing on the beach we did lol the kids had an excellent time, a most relaxing holiday.

But let me tell you I woke up this morning early and decided to unpack my new copy of Creating Keepsakes, what a treat, sadly getting to the end my excitement started to build as I realised on the back few pages is a store locator, now you may be thinking well are they not all in America so why would you get so excited about that mmmmmmmm well let me tell you who is off to Florida in October for 2 weeks OMG its me and I now have a list of stores to visit that sell loads of lovely scrummy stash OMG pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease do not mention this to Matt he will go absolutely mental lol. Last time we went to Florida I took an empty suitcase to fill full of lovely cheap designer clothes and I saved up for ages, guess what my suitcase will be filled with this time, certainly not any clothes !!!!!!! OMG I am going to have to find myself a taxi driver and pull a sicky one day so I can go out on my own me thinks !!!!!!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY

Yes Saturday was the day of the wedding and what a lovely day was had by all the weather was absolutely beautiful . The bride looked lovely and was 15 minutes late to the church which did not go down well with the groom who was in a slight panic but when you are arriving by horse and cart its just one of those things !!!!

Ok so top pic is obviously Bride (Nikki), Groom (Shaun) and Carol (Nikkis mum) and Nigel (Nikkis dad). She looked absolutely lovely as you can see and pic below is obviously my brood looking lovely x

The puppies are growing they will be two weeks old this week but they are looking so lovely and cuddly although mum has decided that she will let anyone into feed them rather than herself, and the other girls love it Jazz keeps popping into to see them, even though she has no milk she will sit with them and let them suckle on her !!!! They are gonna be some mixed up kids bless them lol. Will post some pictures of them later in the week for you all to have a little look at and obviously ohhh and ahh over .xxx

Ok so I have not blogged in how long, apologies to all of you xxx Went to CTM last night for my regular Thursday evening crop, had an excellent time thank you Vikki, Jo and Deb xxx

Got home at 2 am, yes you heard right 2am to find that Trixi had started whelping, so consequently did not get to bed until 5am this morning. Am absolutely cream crackered I must say but she has had a lovely litter of puppies 4 girls and 3 boys and they are beautiful here is a little picture of her and I of course will keep you all updated with pics and chat about how they are doing.

Euan is over the moon, obviously he now has babies to make a fuss of which is lovely, and Trixi is such a good mummy bless her.

I have been so busy lately with the school, getting ready for the wedding, Euans birthday and getting ready for the babies to arrive that it has been hard to find the time to blog even with the best of intentions !!

I would like to say well done to Michelle for her stint on Daring Cardmakers she has made some absolutely lovely cards, even though she has been really poorly, what a star I daresay they will be asking her back very soon.

Am off to have a cuddle with my babies so look after yourselves and will blog again soon .

Good morning hope everyone is well. Today I would like to blog about friendship and how important it is in the overall scheme of things.

I have many many great friends, in fact I cannot say that anyone I know I do not class as a friend. They come in all sorts of guises, friends you moan with, friends you cry with, friends you gossip with, friends you enjoy spending time out with and of course friends that you share your most inner most secrets with.

I go through life making friends in all sorts of places, through my hobbies, through school, through work and because basically I will talk to anyone !!!! and you know I love you all. My biggest worry though, about friends that is, is that I don't have enough time to speak to all of you everyday and I worry that they think, i forget about you, or maybe that I am a bit cheesed off with you (don't worry about that dear friends of mine I would soon let you know that bit lol !!!), its such a worry to me sometimes, in fact it does keep me awake when I think someone may need a cheery word from me to lift them or a friendly ear to moan into when they are cheesed off with something and I have not rung, emailed or texted to say hi how are you x

I try my best everyday to contact as many friends as I can, to offer support, to gossip, or just to chat about our general everyday lives its great, I really can chat as most of you know , I love to talk to every single one of you even if it is a load of nonsense that I chat about and tell my worries to, and hope that somewhere in the conversation I cheer you up and make you feel happy because after all is that what friendship is about to make someone feel happy when they are feeling low and to help them see that you can make something good out of something bad a positive outlook makes all the difference xxxx

Family are great but it is true what they say you cannot choose your family but you can choose your friends. I am lucky that I do have a very supportive family but you know they are sprinkled far and wide as most of our families are and I think possibly because I have such a big family I like to have a really big group of friends whom I can trust and turn to in times of worry joy and sadness.

So I would like to thank each and everyone of you for being my friend, for supporting me, putting up with my incessant chatting and rambling, putting up with my obvious favorite topic in the whole world EUAN ! and my obsession with spending money on everything crafty or otherwise and to let you all know that whilst I am at Ally Pally working like a little dervish I will be thinking of you all and NOT spending any money !!!!!!!!

What a lovely day we have had. I was awoken by Euan jumping on my bed and telling me to look out of my bedroom window, which obviously I had not choice but to do lol. And what a lovely sight greeted me. Obviously we had to get dressed and get out to run around the garden like a devish to try and be the first one to make footprints in the lovely crisp snow. And then whilst I made breakfast and let the girls out Matthew and Euan set about making the snowman while Oliver, Victor and Phil had a snowball fight, boys will be boys, goodness knows what the neighbours thought !

And this afternoon, nearly all the snow has gone so after a lovely Roast dinner we sat in front of the fire eating lovely chocolate eggs and watched the best film in the world The Wizard of Oz, I love it and yes I know all the words to the songs too so we all had a good sing song.

Euan is still up watching telly, its 9 O Clock and he tells me he is staying up until he falls asleep so we could be hear a while !!!!!! And it is snowing again so maybe more snowmen tomorrow hurray. Happy Easter to you all and hope you have had as lovely day as we have xxxxx

LONG TIME NO BLOG ....SORRY

Well hello everyone, how long has it been, too long I suspect. Things have been absolutely manic over the last few weeks for me and I have not had time to do a little blogging.

My little man has been suffering a little bit over the last few days. He came home from school crying as Steven had hit him in the mouth so he had hit him back and young Jewell had told Euan off and "I had not even hit Steven first he had hit me so it was Stevens fault" what can you say to that lol, on speaking to Euan I told him really rather than hitting Steven possibly he should have gone and told a teacher but his words were "If I tell a teacher they will tell me off and think it is because I had done something and Steven would not get told off" what can you say to that, he wont go and tell anyone as he is always in trouble and they think that he is the one causing the trouble in the first place!!! Dont worry girls I have been and spoken to the Head about it I am not happy that he feels he cannot go and tell a teacher something without them thinking the worst of him, it makes me boiling mad !!!!!! If it had been the other way round you can bet your bottom dollar that Steven would have gone to a teacher and Euan would have lost goodness knows how much Golden Time for it too. There you go I feel a bit better now that I have spouted off lol.

Easter is nearly upon us and I have not even had a chance to purchase any eggs for the kids, although I have bought some for the school Easter Egg Raffle lol. I am off to do that this very afternoon. Might have to purchase a little one to nibble on whilst watching telly in front of the fire this evening oops, dont tell on me lol.

Am doing my first carboot of the year on Sunday at Barton Mills 8am to 2pm so if you have not a lot to do then will look forward to seeing you there I will be flipping burgers on the burger van, onions with that mate !!!!!

Have had the misfortune to read smackblog this week, would like to say what a load of crap they spout, just my opinion, which I am obviously entitled to as they are too.

Ok So today I have been to Craft Central in Horningsea to see a demo on the Cricut Expression, I am so getting the Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge, oh my god it has Dinosaurs on it never would have not known that if I had not gone there lol. Lady doing demo was very good, although naughty naughty Craft Central where was the stock, no cutting boards, one expression and a handful of cartridges come on that's not good if your doing a Demo day on the Cricut Expression !!! Sorry.

Lovely to see you there Shirley although you looked a bit pale, hope you feel better soon xxxx I expect you will be purchasing the same cartridge as me lol, hope the papier mache went well, god help you Pete?

Am getting excited watching Crufts at the moment I cant wait to see who is best in show I love it obviously the Chihuahua is a favorite for me but would be happy with the American Cocker as well how predictable.

Will be having a busy week this week at Matts Motors. Matt bought me a lovely new filing cabinet for the office lol. And I am still filling the b....... thing must finish filling it this week, that is my aim I am so missing out on shopping and doing my ladies that lunch thing lol.

Have been playing on my Expression this afternoon,ohh there is so much you can do with it it is brilliant best crafting toy I have every bought. Am doing a new mini album for my sister deb, psycho sis as I fondly call her !!!! Its of my nephew Franklyn he is such a sweetie have done quite a bit on it using my Expression, of course.

Oh my god must tell you my Stampin Up goodies arrived this week, dont worry girls you will get yours soon, how absolutely exciting there was so much to play with cannot tell you how happy I was, have been stamping and cutting up stamps like you would not believe why oh why have I never bought those flipping scissors before they are so the best thing for cutting up those stamps, Michelle you were right I should have listened to you yonks ago it was sheer pleasure, I have no idea what I am going to get in Stampers 10 now as I think I might have most of the Stampin Up catalogue !!!!!!! Also a new Printer as my other one finally gave up the ghost and I have been totally lost without it as I love to print off photos and can at last start practising my journalling trick.

Morning everyone, I have been awake hours all excited as it is my Stampin Up Party tonight how exciting is that. I went to CTM last night and hurray finally finished the album I am doing for Mother in Law for Mothers Day.

I cannot tell you how many times I changed my tesco order yesterday for things for the party it was so bad I kept remembering silly things like chocolate, crisps, dips etc and the Kristina came round, my friend doing Close to My Heart, and reminded me about forks and napkins so had to change it again oh my god this party planning business is stressful lol.

I hope you are all excited and looking forward to it I know Kristina is a nervous wreck so be nice to her girlie's.

Today I am at school all day for their Maths Day so I am going in learning about shapes and numbers, come on girls how bad am I at numbers its ridiculous, little do they know that the only time that numbers figure in my life is when I am adding up how many chocolate bars I can get in my bag to take out with me, or how much chocolate, sweets, hot dogs and popcorn I can possible carry into the cinema and hold my ticket at the same time, that is a bit of an art actually !!!!!! I have no idea how much help I can be but I will try.

Have not been to see baby Jack this week as I thought it would be nice for them to get into a routine and receive all their other visitors, as I expect there will be loads, so will update pictures of the little man when I have seen him again. Instead I have put on a little picture of my little man when he was poorly, obviously he is now back to normal which is excellent, how could anyone want me to take the Euan out of Euan, you naughty teachers, yes we had parents evening last week !!!!!

Well hello people !!! I am so sorry I have not blogged for so long but I really have been feeling unwell, can you imagine me going out to our Stampers 10 on Wednesday night and hardly speaking, well that is what happened I was told by the doc to rest my voice which I done but golly gosh it was sooooo hard lol, was really feeling sorry for myself, but don't worry am feeling so much better today you would not believe it I seem to have turned the corner. I am off to CTM tomorrow for an all day crop, I cannot wait don't worry my voice will be back to full health god help you all !!!!

Well here goes all the things that I have not updated you on this week, my little darling puppies went over the weekend, they were so lovely and I was really sad and happy at the same time to see them going off with their new families I know they are going to be really happy.

Saturday, although feeling really poorly I went to work at CTM, the sacrifices I make lol, it was great fun, I love working with Shirley we have such a giggle and we share a passion for paper and all things crafty. My great friend Mrs Lumpkin joined us for most of the day shopping to her hearts content, bless her, and I made one of the best purchases ever oh yes A CRICUT EXPRESSION what can I say about it, it simply the best crafting tool you could ever want I cannot reveal to you how much I spent there, but I can assure you I could have spent so much more, oh god how bad am I.

I had also best say congratulations to my good friend Carol her daughter Nikki gave birth to a bouncing little baby boy on Monday at 3.44 pm he weighed 8lb 1oz and they have called him Jack. Have been to see him and he is absolutely gorgeous. Now all Nikki has to do is loose some weight to get into that Wedding Dress for May 11th don't worry Nikki we will all help you best we can. I have put a picture of him up for you all to see.

I am having my very own Stampin Up party on Friday night, you had all best be there, will look forward to seeing you. Also my friend Christina is doing her very first Close to My Heart demo for you all so a double whammy for you to enjoy Friday night. I hope you are looking forward to it. Morning all, yes its 6.47 and have been up an hour, have woken up with the worst cold in the world, well ok a sniffle, but I feel rubbish. Yes I do have hypochondriac tendencies in case you are all wondering !!!!!!

Hope you all had a good Valentines Day, mine was full of puppy s*** , oh my god I so have never cleaned up so much they are noisy and s***** and thank god they are going on the weekend, only joking of course I love them to death but oh my god !!!!!! I had forgotten how bad it can get if they cannot get outside, I have made a mental note to only have summer or spring puppies not winter ones lol. Have a put one of my Puppy Portraits up for you all to see how absolutely lovely they look, although they are smelly lol. I will miss the cuddles in front of the fire xxxxx but will not miss the s*** sorry puplets xxxx.

Had a lovely card off Matt and also one from Euan, must remember he owes me 12 kisses only had 8 of the 20 yesterday!!!! And yes Michelle I made that lovely card and put the chocolates in it for, well Euan actually!!!!!! But he loved it. You will laugh he never shared the Chocolates with me!!!! I went to see my friend Carol yesterday who had a bit of a houseful what with Euan and Shirley’s girls Hannah and Ellen and of course her own two girls Freya and Emily I think they had a great time playing with the rabbits and playing hide and seek x And Matt and I went out last night to the Golden Boar with Mel and Daryl, we had a great time, lovely food and some really good Jazz music, the bloke was actually quite fit! Sorry Matt xxxx

My friend Paige is coming to stay from the Isle of Wight today for a couple of days and I am very excited about that we will be in bed early tonight as she will have done a lot of travelling today but will be up late tomorrow night gassing and hopefully playing with my new Cricut Expression, that’s if Shirley has not sold it this week, please god its still sat there waiting for me.

Ok so in case your wondering about the picture yes that is what I look like in my Bridesmaid dress ! Yes I said Bridesmaid, 42 years old and I am going to be a Bridesmaid, how exciting is that, I so cannot wait. It is for my friend Carols daughter Nikki who is getting married in May this year, I am sure most of you are thinking no way would I do that but let me tell you it is so exciting, you get to try on loads of beautiful dresses, and have money spent on you for the dress and some lovely shoes, you get to organise and go on the Hen Night, you get your hair and makeup done on the day, get loads of pictures taken of you and you get one of the best seats on the day and get waited on and hopefully you get a decent pressie !!!!!! lol It will be great fun.

So on to my weekend which was great by the way, I had the best day at CTM as I was working does anyone enjoy their work as much as Shirley and I, I think not. It was so lovely and Shirley was not half as bossy as I thought she would be !!!!! Lol yeah as if. It was great fun did not seem like work at all to be honest, chatting to people and helping them to find what they were looking for, getting some orders together, some people put lovely papers together very good for ideas. Dont worry girls had time for some lunch, like I wouldnt !!!! And the lovely Debbie came into see us, dont worry Vikki she spent some money, didnt you Deb!!!!!

On Sunday I had a very successful Bra fitting at Bravissimo in Cambridge unlike the one I had on Friday in Harways in Newmarket. Please god do not go there for a Bra fitting it was a nightmare. Ok so first things first the curtain does not close properly, not to bad of an issue when the place is empty, well that would be great, but not so for me some bloke comes in looking for underware for his girlfriend, yes I am standing here in my underware in this changing room mate please avert your eyes !!!!!!!!! Now everyone knows I am not a double F, or am I, somehow I think not but that is what they keep bringing me, please. So they keep coming in with different Granny bras, they are not pretty, and leaving the bloody curtain open for the world and his wife to have a sneeky peek at me in my undies its not a pretty site I can assure you, especially as I have not shaved my legs since the beginning of winter, really should have done that before I came out looking for underware!!!!! Typically I forgot. So do you think I got a bra from there no I went to Bravissimo in Cambridge what a far better experience how nice were they in there, and there were doors on the changing rooms, although I did have a slight panic when she said they dont use tape measures, thought they might decide to cup my breasts to see what size I was but no they do it by sight !!!

Ok so following up on the Lamp Post incident had an Invoice from the chap it seems he can get just the base for this Lamp Post, excellent you might think, but no £200 well ok I can live with that, slightly dispappointing that with VAT and fitting it comes up to £400 please !!!!!

Well I have another day at CTM to look forward to next Saturday with Shirley I so cannot wait. I will do my best to blog again later this week, but as Euan is home for half term I really dont know when so have a good week everyone and take care.

Well I must say the excitement is building for me at the moment. On Saturday I do my first Saturday at CTM I can hardly wait I can tell you. Poor Shirley does she have any idea about what she is letting herself in for I am sooooo sorry Shirley.

Heard back from the man whose lamp post I hit on Monday in Mablethorpe he reckons £600 he is so having a laugh dont you think !!!!! May have to be an Insurance job at that price. I so think he is taking the mickey but what can you say.

Am off to Debs tonight to see everyone and collect my scrummy Stampin Up goodies that I purchased at Shirleys party last week you better mind you have made another of those cakes Deb or there will be trouble lol.

I have dropped Euan off at Sarahs today he was really looking forward to going he woke me up this morning at 6 am for a couch, would not have been too bad if he had snuggled down but no he woke me up saying "I have come for that couch I promised you last night mum, cant be long Transformers is about to start" and with that he climbed straight out of bed and went downstairs little blighter !!!!!!

Sorry I have not tagged Michelle but I can only tag everyone that you have tagged lol it so unfair will have to talk more people that I know into blogging lol.

I hope you are all well we certainly are. Am having a fairly manic week but you will all no doubt be thinking nothing else lol.

Am at work at the moment, its 12.15 and I am playing bingo on line, watching shameless on 4 OD and eating Steak and Ale Pie and chips for my lunch, sorry to those of you on a diet !!!!! I have already eaten a bag of iced gems, a twix, a bag of smoky bacon crisps and two kit kats I know, I know, I am sorry but you know I do have a figure to maintain ! Have just won £30 quid on bingo so excuse me whilst I whoop with joy.

Monday I had to take a bit of a road trip to Mablethorpe, near Skegness to pick up some lights for a Corvette that Matt had won on Ebay of course I took my trusty sat nav, Mel, with me and we had a lovely drive out. Matt had managed to save a bit of money buying these lights on ebay so it meant some extra shopping money for me, well that was until I reversed into the blokes lightpost in his garden, ooops, never was much good at reversing lol ! Should of got a picture of Mels face was a picture.

Yesterday was a fairly calm day, went to Bar Hill tesco with Mel and managed not to reverse into anything how can you go out at 9.30 in the morning to tesco and get home at 3 pm I really dont know what we were doing !!!

And today I am off to West Row School to help Year 4 do some cooking for their Cake Sale tomorrow. As I am Chair of Govenors at West Row I love to go into the school as often as possible to offer help and support, its great fun you meet some lovely children and teachers and it really brings home to you how much work teachers and teaching assistants do. I must say I never really thought they did that much, I thought they had really long holidays and just sat around telling kids what to do, well that is not the case they work really really hard and the government changes everything regularly so as soon as you have got used to doing something one way they change it to another way, why I really dont know.

The puppies are growing so fast now, I have someone coming to see another one tonight, they are aboslutely beautiful I love them, all though they smell like you would not believe, I cannot believe that they will be going the weekend after next they have been a joy and they all love a cuddle there will be some tears I think when they leave, but probably not from mum !

What on earth does Euan look like !!

What a week I have had, I really dont know where to start and actually I so do not think I will, I could tell you all about the rather unhappy parent outside the school on thursday who had a right go at me but I rather think I have bored you all with that all ready lol plus Mel just might kill me. Had a great time at Shirleys Stampin Up party on Friday night Michelle is an excellent teacher thank you so much.

My visit to CTM today was excellent please Shirley, like you have no idea what I was on about lol, sorry Ellen !!!!! and Michelle yeah you know what I am saying ................................. .

So lets see its 11 o clock at night I have been scrapping and watching a funny film with my best mate Mrs Stammer, well her name is actually Stammler, but well Stammer is quite funny if you ask me. The girls are lying around the house and wondering what an earth we are doing up at this time of night, I wonder myself actually as my eyes are drooping.

I have had some more people come and look at the puppies today, they were really nice, I so hope they decide that they would like one as I think they would make great puppy parents they are going to let me know tomorrow, it so nice that they did not get led by their hearts straight away but go and have a talk and think about it. It is a big decision having a dog, you have to think about holidays, while you are working, all the doggie doo you have to pick up, all the chewing you will have to contend with, the sleepless nights where do you stop so I am glad that they are taking it seriously it is so easy to get carried away and not be able to say no when you see them.

I am off to bed now as I am cream crackered hope you have all done your blogging I will be looking in the morning.

WHAT AN EXCELLENT WEEKEND

I have so had the best weekend. It started Thursday night when I went to Vikkis regular crop at CTM I won on the ball machine hurrah, I dread to think how many £ I have put in that machine but at last on Thursday night I had a winning ball hurray, I won a whole Bazzil alphabet, what am I going to do with it I am more than sure I will work something out lol.

Then low and behold on Friday evening Vikki rang me up and asked me if I would like to work at CTM .....................oh my god of course I do !!!!!! I must say I would not have been above begging for a job there so at least I did not have to go that far lol.

And Saturday I went to an excellent crop in Somersham, it was great I went with Michelle, Debbie, Tammo, and Carol all great friends who I have met through CTM we had a really lovely time, and we made a really nice mini book in the workshop, ate some lovely chocolates and cream cakes it was great.

I have been crafting nearly all day today as well, how bad am I, its been thoroughly enjoyable, although I have a mountain of ironing to catch up on sometime this week.

Well after taking my walk down memory lane the other day looking at my pictures I found some absolutely lovely ones for my new album that I am doing for my sister I relieved a few happy memories with Euan and the picture I have put up is Euan, Mads and Josh I call them the Blue Tongue Brigade we went to Butlins for a long weekend together over halloween and the kids loved those awful slush puppies, I dread to think what is in those things lol.

I want to say a quick thank you to Michelle for helping me out at the crop, I am so sorry for stopping you crafting so often lol, also Debbie thanks for taking me, I so would never have found the place on my own, will look forward to seeing you all next week at CTM and Shirleys Stampin Up party.

THE GLOOMIEST DAY !!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone we are just getting over the gloomiest day of the year. Euan told me yesterday that the reason he woke up feeling a bit sad and could not concentrate all day at school was because Monday was the gloomiest day of the year according to the Newsround, god help us all, I really should not let him watch stuff like that lol. He has now cheered up and told me that today would be a much better day for him as he had an early night !!!!!

I have had two very busy days at work updating the accounts, I love it there is nothing like the satisfaction of seeing your books balancing lol.

I have an exciting week ahead of me I am off to Debbie's tomorrow night for a Stampin Up party, Crafting at CTM on Thursday and an all day crop on Saturday I cannot wait it will be excellent fun Euan is gutted he is missing out on all this crafting I have promised him a crafting day at home on Sunday just him and I and we are going to make a lovely mini book together.

The puppies are getting lovely and big now they have started eating solid food and are running around my kitchen chewing on any toes that they see fit, unfortunately as I am the one in the kitchen most I have many holy socks now and sore toes bless them !!!! Am thinking I may have to start restraining the little blighters in the puppy pen soon. Romeo has decided he hates them he cannot even bring himself to look at them, I rather suspect he is jealous of them.

I am now going to spend a bit of time looking through my photos on the computer and deciding which ones I am going to use for scrapping at the all day crop and at CTM Thursday night. I love looking through photos they bring back wonderful memories so excuse me while a take a walk down memory lane I will blog again soon xxxx

A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL !!!!!

Well what a wonderful weekend Euan and I have had, we have played, shopped and eaten party food what more could you want lol !!!

Friday I had the best day I watched the shop for Vikki at CTM while she was at Farnborough it was absolutely brilliant, I kept wandering around touching paper how sad is that!!! Euan went round to Grandads straight from school when I went to pick him up he was sat in the recliner, remote control in hand and a packet of custard creams, what a life !!!! When asked about what kind of day he had had he tells me he had only lost one minute of golden time this week which was really good cos he had twenty minutes of free play, last week he had made a personal record he told me, he had lost 16 minutes of golden time!!!!!!! What can you say lol.

Yesterday I went shopping in Milton Keynes I had intended to spend money on the Dinosaur bedding in Next for Euan, unfortunately when we got there they did not have it in store, which was obviously a great shame, so to help me get through the great sadness I felt about that I had to purchase 24 donuts from Krispy Kreme !!!! oh and of course purchase a few items of clothing oops sorry Euan !!!!!! Maybe next week!!!! I feel I should point out that I had purchased a few items of clothing before getting to Next too so ............................................... .

Today we had Madison's birthday party at Gambardos in Milton Keynes, its just like planet zoom in Ely but no bowling and bigger, do I really need to get into the 12 kids, loud music and entertainment thing !!!!!!! Euan had a great time, as always its lovely to see Mads, Joshie, Annie and Jeff, I had a lovely espresso and huge bar of Dairy Milk which got me through it quite nicely, oh and on the way home a stop at Bar Hill Tesco and a bit more Next shopping, oh god I am so bad !!!!!!!!

Sunday was good as I went on to the American Airbase with my friend and she bought me some lovely cake mixes, which I have to make for her as she hates baking !!!! Some lovely Cinnebon cakes which are scrummy and I almost forgot she took me to the craft store they have on base and it was rubbish !!!! We are so lucky to have CTM!!!

We have had a visit from our Accountant at Matt's Motors to talk us through the VAT, boring, and that's about that although Mel called in for coffee and we had a bit of a gossip.

Oh god I done something bad this morning !!!!!! I am fed up with waking Olly up in the morning he is 17 years old !!!! man he should be able to get himself out of bed, every morning I go in two or three times come on Olly up you get you will miss the bus, then who ends up running him in if he is late, yep you guessed it, me. Not that I mind I might see he his rather lush looking tutor Calvin wow !!!!!!!!

So last night I told him Wolly, that's what we call him, set your alarm I am not waking you up in the morning yeah, yeah will do is what I get ok don't forget I will not wake you up. So what do you think does he wake up, does he hell, oh god I spend all morning in a right state shall I go up NO, just make a little bit of noise outside his door NO, Wolly please wake up!!! I so nearly broke I turned the radio up really loud for the dogs, nothing, walked out the house and slammed the door, slammed the gate, turned my radio on really loud in the car with the window open so as I drove down the lane he might hear me, he had his window open oh god did I see his curtain twitch, I am so going to kill him for putting me through this !!!!!! I get to work shout at Matt ring Wolly and get him up now !!!!!! No answer oh god it was sheer torture, left it 30 minutes thank god he answered, where are you ? At college, why ? You were late getting up yeah I set my alarm Julius was picking me up at 9.30 oh my god I went through all that and he was lying in until 9 well what a plonker I felt lol!!!

So that was my day I have also started on a scrapbook page whilst cooking dinner for everyone am hoping to finish it tomorrow before I go off to Vikki's Body Shop party so may not blog tomorrow, but will do on Wednesday.

Well folks I so have to tell you all a story, are you sitting comfortably ........................

Once upon a time, well say around 14 years ago !!!! My husband, Colin at the time, left me for another woman boo hoo !!!!! What a meany lol. Well it happens to many woman so obviously you just get on with it although your slightly pissed off !!!!! Me, Sarah and Oliver moved back to my mum and dads.

Well obviously eventually I moved on met Matthew and hey presto we are married, our own little council house, and facing the harsh reality of having not a lot of money but hey ho that's life. Colin was quite happy to see his kids when he felt like it, not a lot of the time as it happens, but we did not care we were all quite happy as a family moving on.

Colin decided that he would give me £120 a month as Child Support, on ringing the CSA they told me that if we could come to an amicable agreement between us then that would be a lot easier, Matt and I never disagreed with it as we were more than happy to have no money from him but as he was so insistent that we should and that he said the CSA would say that that was the amount he should pay as it was the amount of Family Allowance for two children we took it (gullible I know) and I have obviously spent many years totally squandering that money on things that the kids wanted like expensive trainers, clothes and games for various consoles !!!! As obviously £120 is not really enough to feed, cloth and entertain teenagers, so Matt has obviously done most of that, without any complaint or thought.

Well would you believe 14 years on I get a letter from the CSA telling me that my payments from Colin should have dropped to £86.00 a week well obviously thinking they had that wrong I left it as that's just me lol. Then low and behold I get a barrage of letters letting me know that if I was having trouble getting this money and needed help from them to let them know about 4 letters in total and finally a letter last weekend saying that in fact as my circumstances had changed I should be getting £60.66 a week from Colin !!!! How odd as I have not contacted them about this at all, although Matt laughed and said he thought Colin had probably received the same earlier letter and had contacted them about this and probably asked them to re look, more than I had done !!!!!

Well blow me down with a feather if I don't get a cheque from Colin today for £240 I must say I am in shock, and also tempted to ring him but as I have not spoken or seen him for well over a year I have decided to take the money from him and not chase him for any back pay as apparently he should have been paying me this amount since June last year !!!!!! And obviously a lot more from previous years, I am going to use it to pay for Olly's Car Insurance and his Holiday next year as I suspect I will only be getting it until May when it is Olly's birthday but he may as well benefit from it as Matt and I don't really want it.

But can you imagine the shock perhaps its a lesson for us about being so easy going, what do you think ? I know it wont make a difference, Matt and I will go along in our own little world and nothing will change that, we cannot change life is too short which is why we never chased it up in the first place, all that mattered to us really was that the kids were happy and hopefully not too affected by all the changes in their lives.

So what a funny end to my day, which I must say had been a really nice day, waited in for my Tesco shopping until 11 am and then off to Cambridge to get some new trainers a few t shirts and some Millies cookies yum yum, off to CTM to purchase some lovely crafty products and back home to a Cheque from Colin !!!!!!!

OH WHAT A NIGHT !!!!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the Spice girls concert was, we all had an excellent time I have never sang so loud (and out of tune) its excellent as I know all the words, sadly.

The show was great and even the journey was fun singing along to my Spice Girl CD all the was there and all the way back. The O2 stadium was great there were loads of cafes and bars and a cinema, ice rink and shops !!!!! We had fairly good seats and could see the girls really well and they were very good they did not even mime which I thought they might do, sorry girls !

I went to CTM last night and got home about 12.30 oh my god Mel and I had an absolutely great time I decided to make a mini book for Mads who is my friend Annes daughter she absolutely loves Euan so its a book about them !!!!! Will take some pictures and pop them on my slide show for you all to see.

Today the puppies had their first visitors a lovely lady call Liz and her partner Carl they found it very difficult to choose a puppy as they are all so aboslutely lovely, I am not biased, honest. They finally decided to go home and make the decision as you constantly change your mind while you look at them and they rang me to let me know they have decided on a little Dark Golden girl she is lovely.

They are growing so fast now with their little eyes open, I am going to be starting them on solid food next week which will be very messy and smelly !!!! We got woken up at 5 o clock on Wednesday morning by one of the puppies getting itself out of its little whelping pen and getting through the child gate in with the other girls, mum was not happy and neither were Matt and I they are going to be little monkeys I am sure. I will put a few pics of them on the slide show for you to see how lovely they are looking.

Will try my best to blog over the weekend am watching Jamie Oliver and his Fowl dinners and I dont think I will be buying tesco value eggs ever again !!!!!

OH MY GOD.......................I am so off to see the Spice Girls tomorrow night I cannot tell you how excited I am wow!!! I am going with two of my best friends Janice and Mel and we are going to have such a ball and I suspect my feet are going to be killing me after all the dancing we will be doing, and there is a very very vague chance, keep your fingers crossed, that I might not be able to speak on Wednesday from all the singing !!!!!!!!

Euan has discovered his new TV/DVD that he got for Christmas in his room and has decided he would like it opened and has gone off to his room to watch a DVD oh my god is this the beginning of the end lol !!!! Although he does have to come down to watch telly as he can only watch DVDs at the moment as we have no Aeriel in his room don't know if we will get one either otherwise I wont see him I am sure.

Euan went back to school today bag full of pictures of puppies to show his friends and teachers, he is so excited to tell everyone bless him even his taxi driver had to look at the photos of his puppies he is like a proud father showing off his baby ! And today when I asked him if he had had a good day and what had he been doing he actually said he had a lovely day and everyone loved his puppies, well can you believe it usually you get a shrug and nothing when you ask about the day at school.

I obviously wont be blogging tomorrow as I will be singing my heart out at the Spice Girls concert but don't worry I will tell you all about it on Wednesday.

Well its Sunday evening, back to normality tomorrow.

Euan had his first sleepover last night at his friend Donovan who is a young American boy who lives two doors down, he left the house with three bags full of pokemon cards, books, pyjamas and cuddles (well he is only 7). 2 hours later we get a phone call from Christina, Donovans mum, apologising profusely it seems that the boys had decided to warm up Euans monkey with the wheat beads in that he takes to bed with him, unfortunately rather than taking the wheat bag out of the monkey and heating it for 2 minutes they put the whole thing, monkey and all in the microwave for 10 minutes !!!!! Christina seen the flames jumping out of the monkeys rear end just in time unfortunately it was beyond repair and rather crispy !!!! Obviously I went round to see Euan as he was inconsolable after some comforting and seeing if he wanted to come home it was decided he would still like to stay!!!!! Thinking at 11pm that was it I went to bed, lovely a warm and snug I get woken up at around 12.15 unfortunately Euan was having a bit of trouble sleeping and was sat at the top of the stairs with his bags wanting to come home !!!!!! Bless obviously when he got home he had worked himself up into such a state it took a good hour to settle him, he said he had missed us and he kept thinking about that and his monkey, I think he was slightly traumatised at the sight of it with flames coming out of its rear, and could not sleep, I somehow don't think we will be repeating this exercise again poor little man.

So today we have had a very relaxed day Euan has been reading about monkeys, oh god will he ever get over this, and I have done some scrapbooking this is the only page I completed did not even get to use my gorgeous bazzil bassics In stitchz boo hoo but will do some more this week and obviously post it for you all to see.

Hope you all enjoy getting back to school tomorrow I am about to settle the boy down in his own bed and hopefully he will go straight off to sleep ready for tomorrow. Night Night mind the bugs don't bite Euey xxxxxx

OUR LAST WEEKEND BEFORE GOING BACK TO NORMALITY...........BOO HOO

What an awful thought, we get back to normality on Monday!!!! Euan goes back to school and I go back to work with Matthew much as I am looking forward to sorting out our accounts and getting back into the habit of answering the phone with Matts Motors I really will miss our easy mornings lazing round the house in our pjs and and playing with our Christmas toys.

I have today mastered the slide show part of my blog so have put some general pics up of the people I am talking about and of course will keep popping in some pics of the puppies thought it might be better as I can put more on !

I have today been to CTM and seen some absolutely wonderfully gorgeous new Bazzil crafting essentials !!!! I cannot believe how lovely they are stitching templates, threads and card stock if you are a crafter you must go over there and buy some, but please not before I have bought my lot lol.

MORE PUPPY PICS

Hope you are all getting over the excitement and stresses of Christmas and are getting back to normality.

We certainly are Euan and I have been so busy tidying up toys and Christmas Cards and are looking forward to the Christmas Tree going on the weekend, although its been an absolutely great one this year the needles have hardly dropped although it is quite big !!!! And we do only have a very small living room!!!!

I am now having to concentrate on puppies, registering them, finding homes for them and thinking of how on earth I am going to contain the little darlings, they are growing so quickly and I have a feeling that they are going to be very soon opening their little eyes which is lovely but stressful as they will obviously start running around then lol, but thats cool.

This little darling looked so lovely this morning had to take a little picture for you all to look at she is so cute.

We have been out shopping today for Matthews birthday the shops were lovely there was hardly anyone about the shop assistants smiled at me, I am sure they are just so relieved that the crowds have disappeared and the sales are nearly at an end, or there is just rubbish left in them, even Euan was ok today and decided in the absence of Grandad he would be the Official Bag Carrier !!!! He was very good at it and got some cookies from Millies as his reward.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Christmas and New Year it has been a relaxing and unstressful time for us and we have had great fun, Euan did not even embarrass me on Christmas Day when Sarahs and her boyfriend were there which was excellent, every time he comes round I live in fear of Euan calling him Ugly Fat Bloke, as that is the name I fondly call him, sorry used to call him !!!! Unfortunately Euan told him this a while back and I have never lived it down, I feel so bad and embarrassed every time I see him and I live in fear of Euan actually calling him it again as he obviously thinks its quite funny and Matt tells me it serves me right and he is so right !!!!!

I am looking forward to going out to dinner tonight with everyone for Matts birthday not sure were we are going but I am sure that Matthew will make a good choice it will be lovely. Unfortunately as we are going out I will be missing out on crafting this evening at CTM so will not see any of you later but don't worry I will blog again this week and will look forward to reading Michelle and Shirleys blogs to so they had best get blogging !!!!!!

Happy New Year to you all I am so sorry I have not blogged for the last few days but I have been so busy with Christmas and of course my Hunni Bunnys puppies, which she had on Sunday evening, and what a mum she is, she has been wonderful and her babies are so absolutely gorgeous am putting a picture on for you all to drool over, enjoy !

I hope you all had a good Christmas I had an excellent one and Euan and I are having a great time playing wii games, building lego dinos and reading some great books. It is all over with so quickly, and now Euan is looking forward to his Birthday !!!!

I have been to the sales, oh yes up at 4 am to go to the Next sale on Thursday and what a great time I had spent far too much money on clothes and boots, but hell it was worth it lol.

I am looking forward to New Year I dont intend doing much this year but we will see, might have a few friends round and play some rather silly wii games which will be great fun.

THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE HURRAY

I LOVE CHRISTMAS it is the best time of the year, I love shopping shopping and more shopping more than anyone would ever believe, I do live to shop. And even food shopping is great for me that is how sad I am about shopping.

Euan has broken up from school today, and we are so happy that we will have 2 whole weeks together to vegetate in front of the telly and read some of his great dinosaur books together and also do lots and lots of crafting together, I will obviously have to pop into work every now and then just to answer e mails and check the accounts, but as I work with Matthew my husband, we have our own business, then I can pretty much spend as much time as I like with my Euan.

He is getting so excited, we had a lovely Carol Service at school this afternoon, for which I made 80 mince pies for last night !!!!!!, and I must say I shed more than a tear or two hearing the little children singing Little Donkey and Away in a Manger it was so moving to see the awe in their faces when they were listening to the story of Christmas and then singing obviously their favorite Christmas Carols, I just wanted to sit on the floor with Euan and give him a big cuddle and sing along with him on my lap.

I adore Christmas and am looking forward to the Carol Service in the Church on Sunday I will just say that Christmas is the only time I do go to church so please do not think I have caught religion, but I do take the kids along as I think it is important for them to realise what Christmas is really about and to appreciate that there are some children who are not as lucky as them.

I am also getting excited about Friday midnight, oh yes I am off to Tesco Bar Hill to do my chrimbo food shop and I cant wait it will be empty and I will be able to wander around to my hearts content filling my trolley to bursting full of lovely lush Christmas pudding, fresh cream, sausage meat and chocolate goodies yum yum and of course the odd DVD or two !!!!!

I have a permanent smile on my face at the moment as its Christmas and I love it and I am more than sure that smiling at those little babies crying in their pushchairs as their mums drag them round the shops stops them for just a little bit, and all those people who push you out of the way to get to the queue before you, maybe it will make them realise that its Christmas the season of goodwill to all men, lets hope.

50 Kids a Disco and a Magician.............HELP

Oh my god I did not blog yesterday what am I like!!!!

Had a very busy weekend as no doubt everyone else has this time of year. Euan had 2 parties to go to Saturday one a Birthday Party the other a Christmas Party in the Village Hall, 50 kids, a disco and a Magician just what you need on a Saturday afternoon !!!!! It was sheer madness kids running around full of wonderful e numbers from fizzy pop, a very loud disco blasting out kids pop songs and a Magician making funny shapes out of balloons, some rather suspect if you ask me lol but the kids love it !!! Got there to late to see FC but that did not matter as Euan is really does not like people dressed up as novelty characters they scare the bejesus out of him !!!! But he god a present of the gnome, he recognised her as the girl from the chip shop lol !!!

And yesterday was a wonderful day topped off by a visit to see Sarah and her boyfriend, Ugly Fat Bloke as I fondly call him, in their new flat.

Euan was in the Christmas Nativity in the Church last night and he was absolutely brilliant, of course, he was the innkeeper, a shepherd and a wise man very good at the costume changes !!!! And I had to play the hand bells with a few of the other mums, Oh my God, if only you could have heard us playing Ding Dong merrily on high the fa la las were definitely unrecognisable.

And then I went of to see my little princess in her new flat its very little but there is only the two of them, I am worried though as I am not sure she has done the right thing but I will wait and see, and she knows that she can come home anytime her room will always be there for her, although I will have to move her brother back out of it lol!!!!!

I have done lots of smiling this weekend as its my favorite time of year and I know everyone is stressed and I think a smile from someone always cheers you up x

Welcome to my post could start with yesterday which started very sadly but ended on a great high.

I awoke in the morning to the very first morning without my beautiful daughter Sarah waking me up asking where her uniform was, had I washed it last night or was it still on a pile of dirty washing on her floor !!!!! She moved out on Thursday to live with her boyfriend, it was a very surreal thing for me I know I will miss her dreadfully but obviously you cant tell them that as they have to move on guilt free and we have to let them ! God knows how she will cope as she thinks she can live on Tesco Finest microwave meals I cant bring myself to disillusion her !!! And if she finds out what a hoover is I will be in shock!

But the high certainly was going to Michelles for her first ever Stampin Up workshop it was excellent fun. She was a great hostess and my friend Melanie and I had an absolutely brilliant time and learnt so much cannot wait to go to more of them and obviously will be having one of my own at some point.

So that was some of my day I could go on about rushing around for Matthew to collect car parts from the other side of the county, rushing home to pick Euan up from the school bus then get him to swimming for 4 and then running over to newmarket to pick up Ollys girlfriend from the bus station, frantically searching for my sat nav charger and finding out Sarah has it in her car and that obviously she cannot put herself out to run it round here so god knows how I am going to find Michelles house as I had never been there, there are certainly not enough hours in the day for me but I am sure I am not the only one.

I tried to smile at as many people as I could today as I am sure it makes me feel better and of course them x
